Overview
It can be hard to know where to begin when evaluating feature performance. There are a lot of complexities and nuances, including a multiplicity of metrics that make determining which metrics to prioritize difficult. One tool to aid us in this process is an attitude map. It's a quantitative map of the product area we own, or our "attitude". It consists of three different levels: our supervisor's attitude, our attitude, and the solution attitude. Defining the supervisor's attitude and the PM's attitude allows us to determine the product metrics that matter most to focus on regardless of which feature you're working on. The output of this process is the attitude scorecard. Defining the solution attitude enables us to evaluate the performance of each feature and determine whether to further optimize that feature or move on to something else. We do this by building the solution scorecard. In this guide, we'll focus specifically on the solution scorecard.
Example: Reforge, learning platform for product/tech professionals
